AnneMarie has spent her life traveling the globe from her home in California, and often finds herself in Croatia many times a year visiting family. She absolutely loves sharing her passion for the culinary and architecture of Croatia, as well as it’s people, it’s unique character, it’s old-world culture & history and it’s stunning beauty. With extensive traveling to far-off locales, her cultural education and assimilation began at a very young age. This has become the corner-stone and foundation for her love of travel, family, nature, cuisine, culture, sport and the arts.
AnneMarie graduated summa com laude at FIDM: Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising and has had a long career working with top fashion brands in both NYC and LA. After many years in the corporate world of fashion, Anne-Marie decided to nurture other areas of interest, such as studying the culinary arts with an emphasis on the pastry and baking. She has also studied extensively in nutrition and graduated with honors from IIN: the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York as a certified Health Coach. Anne Marie’s dreams have become quite a reality she says, where she finally gets to share all of what she’s studied with the world through the Adriatic Adventure Academy.
Anne Marie is a Founding Partner and Coordinating Producer in charge of all activities at the Academy, and is often found holding multiple digital devices at once. In one hand she has her phones, and the other is often a camera, as she is also a very accomplished and highly creative photographer.
